The HYCAT design studies by Lockheed for a hypersonic airliner (including the HYCAT-1A shown in this artist’s rendering) were known under the Lockheed internal designation CL-1725. The HYCAT-1A also used by Lockheed as the basis for design of the CL-2103 hypersonic bomber project.
